Hello World! This is Eduardo Souto again coming to you from the VPFI Office in the small city of Guariba – SP, BRAZIL.

It’s a pleasure to be here once again updating Você pode falar Inglês (VPFI) with some interesting content!

This is our 56th blog post, I really hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

If you are here it is probably because you want to become a member of the VPFI Immersion Group or because you want to know your current English Level, am I right? I hope so!

You will be able to take two tests:

GRAMMAR & VOCABULARY TESTBoth of them will grade you and at the end of each test your level will be assessed at a CEF level (A1 to C2). You can choose to have the results sent to your email address.

Questions get easier or harder according to how well you do. If your English is very good you will answer more difficult questions than someone whose English is not as good. You will not be able to see the correct answers to the questions.

You should complete the Grammar & Vocabulary test in about 10 minutes.

You should complete the Listening test in about 10 minutes.

The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF or CEFR) was put together by the Council of Europe as a way of standardising the levels of language exams in different regions. It is very widely used internationally and all important exams are mapped to the CEFR.

There are six levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2. These are described in the table below.

Just to make clear about your English level:
