We are going to learn a little bit more about a new Super Human Being right now!

Are you ready? Let's go, it's my pleasure to introduce you to:

Elon Reeve Musk (born on June 28th, 1971) is a South African-born Canadian American business magnate, investor, engineer, and inventor.

He is founder of SpaceX (American aerospace manufacturer), CEO of Tesla, Inc. (energy storage company and solar panel manufacturer), founder of OpenAI (research company that aims to develop artificial intelligence), founder of Neuralink (American neurotechnology company) and also founder of PayPal (virtual wallet system that operates worldwide to make online money transfers).

Early life

Musk was born on June 28th, 1971, in Pretoria, South Africa, the son of Maye Musk, a model and dietician from Canada and Errol Musk, a South African electromechanical engineer, pilot and sailor. He has a younger brother, Kimbal (born in 1972), and a younger sister, Tosca (born in 1974). His paternal grandmother was British, and he also has Pennsylvania ancestry. His maternal grandfather was American, from Minnesota. After his parents divorced in 1980, Musk lived mostly with his father in the suburbs of Pretoria.

During his childhood he was an avid reader. At age 10, he developed an interest in computers. He taught himself computer programming at the age of 12.

Musk was severely bullied throughout his childhood, and was once hospitalized when a group of boys threw him down a flight of stairs and then beat him until he lost consciousness.

Musk was initially educated at private schools, attending the English-speaking Waterkloof House Preparatory School. Musk later graduated from Pretoria Boys High School and moved to Canada in June 1989, just before his 18th birthday, after obtaining Canadian citizenship though his Canadian-born mother.

At the age of 17, Musk was accepted into Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, for undergraduate study. In 1992, after spending two years at Queen’s University, Musk transferred to the University of Pennsylvania, where in May 1997 he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. While at the University of Pennsylvania, Musk and one of his friends rented a 10-bedroom fraternity house, using it as an unofficial nightclub.

In 1995, at age 24, Musk moved to California to being a PhD in applied physics and materials science at Stanford University, but left the program after two days to pursue his entrepreneurial aspirations in the areas of the internet, renenwable energy and outer space. In 2002, he became a U.S. citizen.

Elon Musk coded his first game when he was only 12 and sold it for $500,00, basically making him a prodigy.

When he was at college he fed himself for less than U$1 a day, is it possible today? Maybe!

Roberto Downey Jr. Modelled his Tony Stark character on Elon Musk.

He has been married twice to the same person. Unbelievable, don’t you think?

Musk wants to die on Mars, not on Earth! He wants to start sending people to Mars in about 6 years! His goal until his death is to send 1 million people to Mars! People say he would be the 1st President of Mars!

Elon thinks that Artificial Intelligence is “the most serious threat to the survival of the human race”.

He built the second largest building in the whole world: the Gigafactory!

The last but maybe the best, he wants to provide free internet connection with high-speed connection to the whole world through satellites!
