Very heavy man

There is a very heavy man in Saudi Arabia. He is 1344 pounds/610 kilograms heavy.

The man cannot move and he cannot leave his room. He has been in his room for 2.5 years. But the King of Saudi Arabia wants to change the situation. The King tells the heavy man to get better. And so people move the heavy man on a plane. He flies to a hospital. They help him there.

The heavy man is the second heaviest man in the world. Only one man weighs more. He is 1386 pounds/629 kilograms heavy.

A big rescue operation had to be carried out in Saudi Arabia. A man, who weighs 1344 pounds/610 kilograms, had to be moved from his room.

He had been in his room for 2.5 years before the operation. He had not been able to leave the room. But now, the King of the Saudi Arabia ordered him to get treatment and the fat patient was moved onboard a plane. The plane will take him to a hospital where he'll get the help that he needs.

Only one person has ever been heavier than this man. He was an American who died in 1983. He weighed an unbelievable 1386 pounds/629 kilograms.

Now, this is what you call a huge rescue operation.

A Saudi Arabian man, who weighs a massive 96 stone (1344 pounds/610 kilograms), has had to be airlifted out of his house after the King of Saudi Arabia ordered him to get treatment. King Abdullah paid for an specially equipped plane to take Khalid Mohsin Shaeri, who's the second heaviest man in the world, to hospital.

The 20-year-old hasn't been able to leave his room in 2.5 years. Khalid's cousin Naser Makke says he's relieved he's finally going to get treatments.

"We've been waiting for this moment for a long time. The King, may God protect him and give him long life, had given his instructions to the Ministry of Health to do all the arrangements to transfer the patient for a treatment in a safe way."

Only one person has ever been known to weigh more than Khalid. American John Minnoch, who died in 1983, weighed whopping 99 stone (1386 pounds/629 kilograms).
